LZR Fabric

This unique fabric is woven from Chlorine resistant elastine yarn and ultra fine nylon yarn to improve durablity, handle and stretch performance. It uses yarns almost half the weight of competitor "lightweight" fabrics.

To enable high stretch properties with high compression, the yarn feed during the weaving process is computer controlled.

Lightweight and powerful

In Independant laboratory test, speedo LZR pulse fabric is proven equal in weight to the lightest competitor woven suit on the market, while offering 15% greater power due to its unique fabric engineering. This  power creates improved core stability and superior compression.

Vertical Seams to Minimize Drag

Seams are placed vertically, rather than horizontally, so they are in line with the flow of water over the body of a moving swimmer and as such, do not create additional surface drag.

Reinforced Seams

All seams are stitched on overlapping panels of fabric to ensure additional strength under the stress of competition, as stitching runs through both overlapping fabric panels rather than edge to edge.
